The Super Duty has been completely redesigned for 2023, with some serious upgrades to power and towing capacity. The looks of the Super Duty have evolved, but the emphasis is still very much on utility. The interior is highly functional as well, but is obviously completely new, and packed with seriously impressive tech. The base 6.2-liter V8 has been replaced with a 6.8-liter that is based on the 7.3-liter optional engine, which is still available, but has been given a bump in power. For maximum towing capacity, the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® is also still available, but has been bumped up to 500 horsepower and a whopping 1,200 lb-ft of torque, best in class by a wide margin.
No matter if you’re hauling cargo, towing in the trenches on a rugged job site, or cruising out on the open highway – the Ford F-250 Super Duty has the muscle to take on any challenge. Its standard 6.8L SOHC Gas V8 delivers impressive low-end torque or you can upgrade to either the 6.7-liter Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8 or the 7.3L Gas V8, which each represent the best-in-class power for diesel and gas, respectively. Whether your Super Duty® runs on diesel or gas power, the optional class-exclusive Live-Drive Power Takeoff (PTO) Provision with Mobile Mode allows multiple accessories to be operated at the same time when the truck is stopped for increased productivity.
Also available is Pro Power Onboard, a 2.0-kilowatt onboard electrical system for powering a wide variety of tools.
