2023 brings some serious changes for the Ford Escape. This starts with a totally redesigned front end, including a bigger grille with the Ford oval badge integrated into it. All of the trim levels have been changed, and the plug-in hybrid version of the Escape (reviewed separately) has its own dedicated trim. New wheel options are available, spread out over the six new trims. The SYNC 3 system has been replaced with SYNC 4, and brings bigger screens with it, 8 inches for the base version, with an optional 13.2-inch touchscreen. You will still be able to select a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, but now any Escape that isn’t equipped with this option will get an 8-inch version.
